ThatReceipt ("we") provides an AI receipt scanning service at thatreceipt.com.

• Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture. We use them to identify your account.
• Receipt photos. Photos you scan are sent to our server only to run automated data extraction, and are not stored on our servers. If you connect Google Drive, photos are saved to a "ThatReceipt" folder in your own Google Drive using the drive.file permission, which only allows access to files created by this app. One exception: when you forward a receipt by email, the attachment cannot be written to your Drive at that moment, because the Drive permission exists only in your browser. The attachment is therefore held in a private, non-public storage bucket for at most 7 days, so that the next time you open the app it can be moved into your own Google Drive; it is deleted from our storage immediately after the move, and in any case automatically deleted after 7 days. Business accounts: a company on the Business plan may choose (an explicit, opt-in setting made by the company's master) to store its members' receipt photos on ThatReceipt servers instead of each member's Google Drive, so that the company's master and accountant roles can view them. Photos stored this way are kept in a private, non-public storage bucket, are visible only to that company's members according to their roles, and are deleted when the record is deleted.
• Expense records. The text fields you save (date, merchant, category, amount, notes) are stored in our database so you can view and export them. You can delete any record at any time.
• Automated processing. Receipt images are processed by Google Gemini to extract text fields. Images are not used to train models.
• Marketing. We only send marketing email, or share your email with third-party partners, if you have expressly opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Analytics and security. We use Google Analytics (usage statistics) and Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection).
